Camp for All Kids provides camperships that enable Black and Brown youth from historically under-resourced communities to experience overnight summer camp, providing a safe environment that fosters fellowship and social-emotional development. By bridging the opportunity gap and facilitating a racially diverse camp community, the Camp for All Kids experience benefits our campership recipients and the entire camp community.

Our History

Camp for All Kids — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization — was officially incorporated in 1997 to promote and facilitate racial diversity by sending kids from under-served communities to overnight summer camp. But the real story began six years earlier when a Camp Kamaji parent asked what he could do to add diversity to camp. Fast forward several decades to today: more than 1,500 camperships have been awarded, and thousands more kids, campership recipients and their camp friends alike, have benefited from a diverse camp experience.
